A more flexible stock rule

A few details help explain this feature. The game still uses 104 cards in ten columns. Choose one suit, two suits or four suits using the game controls. The objective remains eight complete same-suit King-to-Ace runs. Relaxed Spider on yzxlove.com permits stock deals while columns are empty.

Deal into empty columns

Keep these points in mind. An empty column no longer prevents a stock deal in this variant. The relaxed stock rule does not allow mixed-suit groups to move together. A stock card dealt to an empty column becomes that column's first face-up card. The relaxed stock rule does not change the rank requirement for ordinary moves.

Read the opening

Here are the details for this mode. The stock contains fifty cards for five later deals. Only the bottom card of each opening column is face up. The opening tableau contains 54 cards. The first four columns have six cards each and the remaining six have five.

Move a single card

Keep these points in mind. A King needs an empty destination because no rank is higher. The two cards do not need to share a suit for a single-card placement. An Ace cannot receive a lower-ranked card. An exposed card may land on another exposed card exactly one rank higher.

Follow one suit

The following details apply here. A break in rank prevents the entire selected group from moving together. A suit change can leave a smaller movable group at the bottom of a column. A descending group moves as a unit only when every selected card shares a suit. Same-suit building can reduce the work needed to separate mixed sequences later.

Keep space available

A new stock row fills every empty column with one card. Any exposed card or legal same-suit group can occupy an empty column. Empty columns remain useful for separating temporary mixed builds. You may preserve an empty column until you decide to deal from the stock.

Bring in another row

Undo restores the previous arrangement when the stock-deal snapshot is available. A stock deal places one card onto each of the ten columns. You cannot direct an individual stock card to a chosen destination. Dealing can block an existing sequence as well as reveal new combinations.

Collect matching runs

The following details apply here. A complete run contains thirteen face-up cards in one suit from King to Ace. The game removes a complete run automatically at the bottom of a column. Eight collected runs are required to finish Relaxed Spider. Changing the number of suits does not change the number of required runs.

Practice the variant

Keep these points in mind. Random relaxed deals are not presented as guaranteed solvable. Hints identify legal options without guaranteeing a win. Replay restores the same shuffle for another attempt. New game creates a fresh shuffle in the selected suit setting.

Separate variant progress

Keep these points in mind. Each relaxed suit setting has its own current local game. Privacy & Cookie Settings lets you turn saving off or clear local records. Relaxed Spider keeps its saved games separate from standard Spider when saving is enabled. My Statistics displays relaxed starts and wins in separate rows.
